Hello Perdola,
A year ago, somewhere in january 2012, we released a new update for ATX v1, to bring support for more platforms.
One of the changes affected the encryption & licensing part.
To be able to renew a license, an update of your atx installation is required, so that it's compatible again with our license severs.
Fortunately, this is pretty easy. Here's a step by step guide
1) Go to
http://www.arrowscripts.com/atx/install/update.shtml
and download the latest update package
2) Extract the .cgi files from the zip file
3) Upload the .cgi files - in binary transfer mode - to yoursite.com/cgi-bin/atx/
4) Via ftp, edit the file cgi-bin/atx/d/users.dat
Remove all contents, and on the top line write
|user|pass||
5) Now you can login again via the admin, with user/pass
From now on, you will never ever have to use install-web.cgi or aslicense.com to renew a license.
Everything can be handled from within the ATX admin.
If you need any help, please let me know.
Best regards,
Frank
