ORK
Dear CCBillEU Client:
On Wednesday, January 15, 2003, from 6:00 am to 9:00 am (GMT) the European processor for CCBillEU will temporarily
shut down their system for a 60 minute period of time to perform scheduled maintenance and upgrades in order to provide you
with better service.
During this short downtime, there will be a freeze on all CCBillEU processing of rebills, and all new CCBillEU
transactions will be placed in a special <strong>Batch Processing Mode.*
*Batch Processing Mode was created specifically for our clients to allow them to continue to generate sales
from their websites while a processing system is temporarily shut down for reasons such as periodic scheduled maintenances.
Batch Processing Mode puts a temporary hold on all new transactions sent to CCBill and CCBillEU while the system is down,
then immediately sends the transactions through to the processor when their system goes back online.
Generally speaking about 70% of all Batch Processing Mode transactions convert into good sales for the website.
This offers the opportunity for our clients to reap the benefits of receiving revenue for a majority of their completed
sales during downtimes vs. generating zero revenue because processing was terminated during a downtime.
